ALBUM REVIEW: Vanguardista Records - Winter Solstice

The stresses of the festive season are almost upon us, so this compilation album of laidback soundscapes with a wintry theme is a perfect way to grab some quiet time. There are a few vocal tracks but this is primarily an album of beautiful, ambient and delicate instrumentals. Great to hear some of the acts that we have featured on our radio show and thankfully not even a hint of jingle bells or whimsy. The listening experience is a welcome pleasure.
